Week 12 Amazon Ads

This week we cover Amazon ads. Amazon is different than what we are used to talking about because it is not a social media platform where people and business share their brands and companies. Amazon is strictly a buying and selling marketplace. Arguably the biggest of its kind being almost a trillion dollar company. Where else would you want to run ads for your products? Don't forget about the competition factor. Since Amazon is the biggest online selling platform, every business wants to be on there. One of the best reasons to post ads on Amazon is because they gather 310 million online shoppers that are there for one reason and one reason only, and that is to buy, buy, and buy. If you go on Amazon and search "flying spinner" you'll find ads, and tens even hundreds of options you can choose from. This gives sellers the option to play with prices, fix shipping costs, and make their exact same product stand out in their own way. I have experienced this with my drop shipping website through Shopify. If I post a product that is listed on Amazon, there is so much competition it is like a giant puzzle you have to figure out. You have to see why the best sellers are Thebes sellers and why the least popular is the least popular. It is an interesting world we live in where the same product can be bought and sold by over hundreds and thousands of different websites and companies. I will say, running ads on Amazon seem to be much more user friendly than Google ads or Facebook ads. Amazon is a great place to market yourself and your brand, with what seems to be an unlimited consumer pool, and vast opportunities definitely try running your ads through Amazon and see it fit for yourself.
