This week Professor Kelsey posted and introduced a few people who are working closely with AI and he asked some questions about their opinions. To me this seemed very interesting from the start, hearing what someone has to say about AI when they work every day on it could be eye-opening or scary. One question that was asked from Professor Kelsey was what inspired them to work in AI. The most eye-opening response was Mr. Hintons, he said he loves the human brain and he wants to try to create one with AI. The brain is fascinating and has many unanswered questions. It is scary to know how much AI and our brains can have in common, and it is even scarier that people out there want to create artificial intelligence brains just to see what they can do and how they would be able to use them.
