This week is about trying to help a local business with SEO. Our job is to find a local business and go onto their website and find things that we could maybe bring up or offer to them that will help them with SEO and bring more customers into their hands. The local business I chose to look at is Red Mountain Bar and Grill. This is a new restaurant in east Mesa Arizona that is a great hangout spot. Their food is good and the restaurant has many games and a nice bar to hang out at, but their traffic is slow and full of older people. I think it's because they don't even have a website, and when you look up places to eat out here they are at the bottom. The only people that know about it are the ones that drive by it on their daily schedules and see it. I would like to offer help and let them know or ask why they don't have a website. Another restaurant nearby is called Boca Taqueria, a very popular Mexican food restaurant in Mesa and they have it figured out, their website is very functional, fastly loading, has pretty pictures, easy to navigate, easy to order off of and etc. I would use their layout as an example for Red Mountain Bar and Grill. If they had something like that along with better google search results, I see them booming. I never would have thought about that until this class so thank you, might be worth actually doing!
