Week 4 SEO Audit

This week we learn about SEOs and Audits. To maintain search engine optimization, it is appealing to have more content, images, and creative writing to intrigue a client. That's where an audit can come in to help. A site audit would check a few things. On the page, an audit would look for duplication, multimedia, scannability, internal links, tags, and titles. The off-page check would include backlinks, social media tags, reviews, and phone numbers or addresses. The technical side of an audit would look for things like loading speeds, URL structure, and status codes. Lastly the user experience, how is the customer's journey? are there banners or pop-ups? Do the images and videos load speedily? Posted by Professor Kelsey, the SEO audit form lists all things that were just talked about, and the meaning behind the audit is to improve the technicalities behind a website and to make it better to obtain clients. A lot of these things I'm sure many people would just not think about, they have opportunities online where you can offer to do an audit for a website which is insanely cool that people want to help someone with things that the owner of the website would not know how to do or even look for. Obtaining clients is not easy, but the easier and prettier you can make your site, the easier it will be to obtain those clients.
